There are knuckleheads out there. Every time I get in I’m always thinking like ‘I don’t wanna die today’. I’ll go over a whole bunch of s***, especially when I’m flying solo, I have the whole flight, I have all my options, where I could land if I have a problem. That’s what you’re supposed to do. I look at weather reports, I do all of that s*** and what happens is that guys get more and more confident and their pre-flight is they kind of look ‘hey, it’s pretty clear’. There’s people who go up knowing that they can die and then there’s other people up there who are just like Magnum P.I. and they wanna fly by waterfalls and s***. Those guys have more fun but […]

Sometimes I just want to grab some cheese and a beer and watch two guys having a conversation on YouTube. I can also pretend I’m the third person in the conversation like we’re in a pub or something. Either way, I am always learning something.
Until yesterday I didn’t know that Bill Burr was learning how to fly helicopters. That is quite a job. You’ve got to be really methodical and focused if you don’t want to die up there.
This little bit of the interview reminded of the Scouting Reports. There are traders that will go trade the picks knowing they can lose their shirts in a week and then there’s the Magnum P.I. type of traders that wanna trade by ear, by feeling, improvising as they go.
Stop loss, Target, Entry and Position Sizing. BEFORE trading any of the picks provided by the Coaches, you should have these four points laid out in great details.
Remember this: S.T.E.P. “Step by step, oh, baby, gonna get to you, girl.”

The S&P 500 index wants it. It wants to get to the 2947 level. Before it does so though, buy some portfolio protection. They are cheap now. THEN, once it gets there, you can grab some cheese and beer and relax while watching New Kids on the Block on YouTube.
