Tackle Today: Hey, Jurassic! | Tackle Trading

— “[…] But Jurassic, just like the movie, is fine. I will turn around if you call me: Hey, Jurassic!”
— “You are too polite. It is what it is®.”
Traders Take 5: Slawek Jurasek
That was Coach Tim interviewing Slawek J, coach, team member, full-time day trader, collaborator responsible for some of our weekly Scouting Reports.
Although short-only about 5 minutes-the interview is packed with memorable moments. Two that grabbed my attention was when Slawek said “BY MISTAKE I made a bunch of money in the beginning” and the other one was when he explained how he got into day trading: “I found out during my trading career that I am horrible at hedging, I can’t sleep at night with big positions in my account […]”.
The story of the overconfident new trader that goes broke after a few heroic trades and the acknowledgment of weaknesses and focus on strengths. You can’t miss this interview (see the Video of the Day).
If you are not yet aware of the Trading Justice Podcast video series “Traders Take 5”, you are missing something precious. Team members will take five questions from Coach Tim in five minutes. These are the five-in-five:
